Key Topics of Discussion at MAPS America 2026
AI in Medical Affairs: Practical Applications, Real Impact
Medical Affairs teams are increasingly translating the potential of AI into real-world capability. This includes applying AI to accelerate evidence synthesis, data analysis, and the generation of scientific insights, while also leveraging AI-enabled tools to enhance scientific exchange and insight gathering. At the same time, organizations are integrating AI into Medical Affairs operations to improve efficiency, consistency, and scalability across their activities.
Demonstrating the Value and Impact of Medical Affairs
Positioning Medical Affairs as a strategic functional partner involves translating field activities and scientific insights into meaningful metrics that resonate with leadership and clearly demonstrate the function’s value and impact.
Integrated Approach to Integrated Evidence Generation Planning
Replacing reactive, fragmented evidence efforts with a proactive, coordinated, and cross-functional approach involves aligning clinical, real-world, and stakeholder evidence needs while ensuring the right evidence is available at the right time to support critical decisions across the product lifecycle.
The Evolution of Field Medical Engagements
Redefining value in scientific engagement involves expanding Field Medical roles to reflect growing scientific, strategic, and cross-functional expectations. This evolution includes elevating stakeholder interactions through insight-driven, tailored scientific exchange and shifting performance measures away from activity-based metrics toward indicators of genuine scientific and clinical impact.
Our Service Offerings
Understanding the Science starts with a rigorous, evidence-based foundation. We integrate systematic literature reviews, disease state dossiers, scientific platforms, and a shared scientific lexicon to translate complex evidence into a clear, consistent understanding that supports alignment and strategic decision-making.
We develop Strategic Collaboration Models that define how advisors engage across working groups, advisory boards, and regional roundtables. Each model aligns the appropriate expertise, level of engagement, and advisor role to the intended outcome, ranging from defined strategic deliverables to insight generation and educational exchange, ensuring fit for purpose collaboration and clear value from every interaction.
A Medical Strategic Plan provides a data-driven framework to define an asset’s strategic priorities, objectives, and path to execution. We work closely with Medical teams to assess the current landscape, align on clear goals, and develop integrated strategic and tactical plans that support informed decision-making and effective execution.
We design and deliver Medical Education and Training solutions that equip Medical and Commercial teams with the knowledge, tools, and confidence needed to support effective engagement. Our approach focuses on clear, relevant, and practical training materials that translate strategy into consistent understanding and execution across audiences.
We support end-to-end publications and congress activities, including planning, attendance, and post-congress reporting, as well as the development of scientific abstracts and posters, oral presentations, manuscripts, and standard response letters. Our approach ensures aligned educational objectives, clear timelines, and consistent, high-quality scientific communication across congresses and publication channels.
We look forward to connecting with fellow Medical Affairs leaders to exchange perspectives on how teams are advancing strategy, strengthening cross-functional collaboration, and demonstrating the evolving value of Medical Affairs.
