YARDLEY, Penn. – October 13, 2022 – Herspiegel, a leading provider of commercial strategy and implementation services to pharmaceutical and biotech industries, announced today that seasoned strategist, Will Sargent, has been promoted to Principal at the company. In his new role, he will use his depth of experience and ability to help biopharma clients through an increasingly complex healthcare landscape to get new therapies to patients and optimize commercial outcomes.

Will leverages his engineering background and passion for solving large-scale commercial problems using new technologies and applying them to complex biopharma challenges. He delivers innovative solutions that repeatedly drive performance and positive outcomes for our clients.

Working across Herspiegel service lines, Will has demonstrated continued success in patient services design and support. In one example, our client increased adherence and compliance, improving the patient’s experience while reducing costs more than 15%. His accomplishments in marketing and commercial services include revising a pharma companies strategy in the field to leverage telehealth and non-personal communication, developing a virtual sales representative strategy early on in the COVID-19 pandemic enabling his client to maintain their sales trajectory despite significant disruption in the market.
Prior to Herspiegel, Will spent several years at Merck installing operational best practices and supporting executive strategy, his industry experience includes participating in 16 product launches, medical devices companies, as well as small biotech launching their first commercial products. He has experience in oncology, diabetes, CNS, pain, rare diseases, digital health, and connected devices. Will holds a Bachelor’s degree from the US Naval Academy in Mechanical Engineering and an MBA from the University of North Carolina. He is also a certified Lean Six Sigma Black Belt.
